This is the sort of thing that would pretty much be laughed out of the office if submitted by anyone else...and rightly so. A three-way (especially one involving a ring-generated woman) is the domain of porn-ish fanfic.

Huh. That's kind of ick.
Berganza was editor. He's the same guy responsible for the trainwreck that got him booted from Supergirl, and who spent his time at Comic-Con panels talking about making Black Lanterns "sexy".
I have decided to form the opinion that he has never actually kissed a girl, and gets his ideas of gender relations from Maxim.
